SCOTT CARMONY NAMED NEXT CRIMSON FOOTBALL COACH

It is with great pride and excitement that we introduce Scott Carmony as the 35th coach in Manual's illustrious 123 year football history. Coach Carmony comes to us from Butler High School, not only as a football coach, but also an outstanding educator. He has 22 years of teaching experience in Kentucky as a certified Social Studies teacher and has also earned his Kentucky Administrative Certificate.

Coach Carmony has 11 years of head coaching experience in Jefferson County with the reputation in our community as a builder and sustainer of championship level football programs. He lead his 2011 Butler team to a state semifinal appearance. He also has been named District Coach of the Year three times (2001, 2008, 2009) by the Kentucky Football Coaches Association and was a finalist for Associated Press Kentucky High School Coach of the Year (2011). He is no stranger to Manual High School, serving as an assistant football coach during the 1997-99 seasons.

Coach Carmony has embraced Manual and our tradition of excellence in all areas, committed to the all around development of our students, both in the classroom and on the field. We are extremely excited about the future of Manual Football under his leadership.
